Ingredients for 20-25 balls
250 g Grana Padano Grated Cheese “Cascine Emiliane”
250 g mascarpone
200 g of chopped hazelnuts
nutmeg
How to prepare:
In a bowl mix the Grana Padano Grated Cheese “Cascine Emiliane” with mascarpone until you have a thick and soft cream, season it with two three pinches of just grated nutmeg. Put the mixture into bowls until protrudes outside the edge and the filling is shaped as sort of “dome”. Very carefully cover them with hazelnuts, perhaps with the help of tweezers.
Or, taking a bit ‘of mixture at a time, form many balls more or less the size of a plum, roll them in chopped nuts, transfer them in bowls or in pastry paper cups.
